Daily Dose “The Future”

"This short is a comically cynical vision of a future where the water is gone, all that’s left is dust and desperation.

The Future is currently being screened at festivals locally and internationally."

This honestly made me crack up with laughter..ha ha
The concept is so bizarre, along with voice work that simply screams an episode of Benny Hill.
With all that said pretty in genius character design. I can see why this made Vimeo's Staff Pick.
It's very original and has a unique feel.

Daily Dose “Project Ellis”

Another cool animation with a strong and positive message. Dress Code the studio who produced this info graphic seems to always realize on great design. I’m becoming a fan of their work.

Blurb about the Project Ellis project:

“If you or someone you love is affected by the new executive orders on immigration and needs help — whether it’s legal advice, money for travel/accommodations, whatever — please use Project Ellis (Entrepreneurs’ Liberty Link in Silicon Valley) to ask for assistance. You, your friends and your colleagues are not alone. Please spread the word.”

Daily Dose “This is the story of a little number that could…”

A lost art in the 21st century is story telling or rather good story telling. We see it in cinema, advertising and television. The lack of creativity and original ideas. Everything is a recycle loop of yesterday mixed with bad dialogue. haha

This video is a simple throwback to good story matched with greater design.

Daily Dose “Coke Habit” by Dress Code

The blurb from vimeo “The Summer after 10th grade Mike spent two solid weeks with horrible horrible migraines, dizziness, blind spots and tunnel vision—he didn’t know what it was… This is the story of his Coke Habit.”

One highlight of motion graphics is the ability to work independently of clients and deadline. This project was done in such fashion. Detailing the narrative of a personal addiction to caffeine something one in the design industry may know to well.

Visually “Dress Code” the company behind this animation achieves very stunning work. Mix of 2d elements, 3d compositing and great “digital ink” work.
