Daily Dose “Zedd ft. Troye Sivan – Papercut (Grey remix)”

“When the guys at Interscope and Blood Company approached us about doing a music video for Zedd’s Paper Cut, we knew it would be the perfect opportunity to try out an idea we had been toying with for a while: gathering a dream team of some of our favourite artists from around the world to create one cohesive film using a variety of styles.

After coming up with the storyline we put together a script, storyboard and animatic and then divided the shots between ourselves and 10 of our favourite collaborators, with the only guideline being to work in black and white with a hand drawn feel.

Stunting work production by Elastic. The direction reminds me of stuff I did in 2019. It great when this have a message hidden within the beautiful craftsmanship.

Daily Dose “The Rough Cut”

“The rough cut is where the magic happens.” We all experience struggles with being creative, believing in ourselves, and finding the best language to share our ideas. There’s an infinite battle between the concept in our minds and what gets put to paper. This short is all about the creative process, and how vulnerable we are as artists.

Because this is a universal experience, we connected with friends from around the world and enlisted their help in telling this story. Oh, and we also used their true voices in the voiceover.”
