Daily Dose “Adidas Superstar 50th”
“It’s already been 50 years since the streetwear legend Adidas Superstar was born. It seems like a good moment to remember its bright game-changing, team-working spirit.
We were invited to participate in this celebration under the executive creative direction of Hypebeast’s Enric Soldevila and The Others’s production, who asked us to direct this film belonging to the Superstar’s 50th Anniversary Campaign.”

Been a while since I wrote anything. I’ve been taking in everything happening around the globe like everyone who follows this blog. As a creative happy to be back highlighting the talented people I love to admire.
“Eni is making some major changes to contribute towards a sustainable future. But they’d like a little help from you — making small everyday changes like riding a bicycle to work. We pitched in with a hand-drawn campaign.
The project involved two live-action shoots, the creation of 3D vines and butterflies, lots of animation tests and some pretty intense frame-by-frame animation. We ended up with two commercials, a couple of cut-downs and print assets.
We wanted the actions of the protagonist to feel realistic and natural, so setting up a studio shoot was the best choice to capture natural movement.”

But what sets the series apart is the portrayal of Philip and Elizabeth, who struggle to reconcile a life of secrets and deception while trying to raise and protect their family.
Daily Dose “Godfather of Harlem Title Sequence”
“The Godfather of Harlem main title is an homage to the contemporaneous collages created by African-American artist, Romare Bearden (1911–1988), during 1960s Harlem. He is best known for his photomontage compositions made from torn images of popular magazines and assembled into visually powerful statements on African-American life. We felt his art was appropriate to the show because it shared themes and portrayals of social inequality and the African-American experience that the show similarly explores.”
